Wow!

Well, it's been a while since my last post - I'm telling you, we have been NON-STOP!

Zak and I went to Playa del Carmen for our 5th Wedding Anniversary in June (our Anniversary isn't until July 6th, but it was the only time we could really go). We had a great time and got out of there the day that Tropical Storm Alex was hitting - as you know, the next day that storm turned into a hurricane. We flew back into Amarillo and stayed the next day for Thomas' birthday party. We also picked up our new camper that day! We are so excited for that - ready to make some great family memories!

We spent the day of July 4th at my mom and dad's - it was SOOOO MUCH FUN! We played in the pool that afternoon and then enjoyed some great food that my mom cooked on the grill. She even had homemade ice cream (this summer has NOT been good for my figure). We finished up the evening by watching the kids (and the "big boy kids") shoot fireworks by the barn. Daddy, Zak, Seth and Clarke Swinney had a LOT of fun shooting off some pretty awesome fireworks! There were people that were stopped in the street by the house watching our display and we heard of a lot more people who were watching from their houses. It was truly a great night!

The next day, we headed down to Dallas to take Kenna to the Scottish Rite Hospital. She has a "come-and-go" issue with her foot that we have been trying to figure out. They told us there that she might have a "tethered spine" and that we have to have an MRI done to figure out if that is what it really is. She will have to be sedated for the MRI, so we are going to take her back down to Dallas for that - we are just waiting to hear when her appointment is. While we were there, we got to spend some good time with Mike, Mary Lynn and Tanner - even got to see Tyler and Layci! It had been almost SEVEN years since we had seen Tyler! We took the girls to the Rainforest Cafe at Grapevine Mills and even took them on a little choo choo train ride while we were there. Got to put a LITTLE fun into those doctor appointment trips!

As soon as we got back, it was time for Kamryn's 1st Birthday! Her actual birthday was on Thursday - we got her ears pierced on Friday and then had her party on Saturday. It was a sweet little party with close family here at the house. She is the best little baby - such a blessing to us! Can't believe she is a year old already. This past year has really flown by!

This past weekend, we went to Lake Canton - used the camper for the first time!!! It was fun! We can't wait to use it again soon! We are going to take a trip up to Colorado with some friends in August - we are really looking forward to that!

Next weekend is the twins birthday party - four years old!!! After that is when we are going to Colorado and then it's time for another 5K Race, the Perryton Celebration and then the big PHS Reunion weekend. I don't believe we will stop going going going until the weather gets colder...then, who really knows!
