I don't think we have slowed down any since May! The day that school let out, we headed down to Paris for Zak's Aunt Becky's wedding - it was beautiful and HOT! The girls had a blast fishing at Papa's pond and Kenna was so excited to catch her first fish! We left there on Sunday morning and headed up to Canton. We were able to spend a couple of hours on the lake that afternoon - there were a lot of people and it was an awesome day to be out on the lake!
Mother and Daddy left on Monday morning and took Kamryn with them so that we could enjoy some time on the lake without a baby AND so that we could take the girls to White Water on Tuesday! Kenna started running a fever when we got there (of course), but once she got some medicine and started feeling better, it was a great day! The girls had so much fun - especially Kimber - she couldn't get enough of the water slides. We got back to Perryton on Tuesday night - that was a ton of traveling for a long weekend.
We decided to go back to Canton again the next weekend - it was going to be the only other weekend we could take Marha, so we wanted to take advantage of it. It was really windy and rough on the lake...until Saturday evening when the water turned to glass - that was enjoyable! We don't see it like that very often over there.
Last weekend, Jenny McGaughy and I had a garage sale here at the house. It was great, b/c we got rid of SO MUCH STUFF, got our garage cleaned out and made a little money. I'm glad it's over with, though.
This week has weird. We got so much rain this past weekend that the girls had to stay inside for a couple of days - that was AWFUL! I was ready for school to start back up - lol! Tuesday, we went to Amarillo and bought a camper! We are so excited to take the girls out in it! Zak has been trying to get everything ready (business-wise) so that we can go to Mexico next week. I have been trying to make lists and make sure everyone has everything they need for next week - the girls will be staying in Amarillo with Grammy and Aunt Jenn, so they are super excited! Packing alone is a two-day ordeal!
Kamryn is now fully walking! We are so happy - we were afraid she was going to do it while we were gone - that would have killed me.
Hope everyone is having a great summer, so far!
Love you all, Roxanne
